11 Howard, New York: Minerva

For the opening of 11 Howard, the SoHo hotel created by Aby Rosen, Holly was commissioned to paint Minerva: a winged goddess surrounded by peacock feathers, palms and blue flowers, in oil on silk, 2 x 2 meters. It hangs at the hotel, home of The Blonde bar, as part of an art collection that also includes a Calder mobile and a neon by Dan Attoe.

Like every commission, it began as a drawing. Holly's first pencil sketch already held the whole composition: the outstretched wings, the feathers and the trailing serpent.

Zadig & Voltaire, Paris

Holly painted a zodiac mural inside the Old Carpet Factory, a recording studio on the Greek island of Hydra, during her residency there. She paints murals and ceilings on site for hotels, restaurants, studios and homes. See her mural commissions.

  • Original artwork for prints and products: textiles, fashion collections, packaging and limited editions.
  • Bespoke astrology pieces: hand-painted charts for a brand's founding date, a hotel's opening day or a special guest.

How It Works

  1. Brief. Share the space or the project, the story you want to tell and your timeline.
  2. Design. Holly develops hand-drawn sketches and samples for your approval.
  3. Creation. Holly paints in her Stockholm studio, or travels to paint on location.

Pricing

Every project is quoted individually. The price depends on:

  • the size of the work and the level of detail
  • the medium: a wall, a ceiling, or a painting on silk, linen or canvas
  • the location, travel and time on site
  • your timeline
  • for artwork used on prints or products: how, where and for how long it will be used

As a guide, murals take at least one week of painting on site after the design stage, and hand-painted garments start from €5,000.

For a quote, send a short brief: the space or project, photos or plans, rough measurements, the location, your opening date or deadline, and a budget range if you have one. Mood images are welcome too.
